Dear Darren,

I wanted to share with you my thoughts after reading your e-mail today. It had a very calming effect which is greatly appreciated! It is amazing how having a terminal to share with and receiving a message back can have an amazing effect on someone who is the middle of a raging storm.

As a solo practitioner such a relationship is invaluable. Any other solo docs out there can appreciate the “aloneness” that exists in private practice. I appreciate how prompt you are to respond to my messages and felt such a release of tension after reading your reply, I just had to let you know how I felt and validate you for doing what you do, and being who you are.

Hi Darren and Michelle,

I thought you'd like to hear how we've done in the past month. In February Michelle began working directly with my front office staff remotely, she identified specific programs to watch on AMP archives, & followed up with them directly on their progress. At the time I also had a couple of staff members that were engaged in a disharmonious relationship and were not working well together. Michelle again identified two AMP TV archives for both of them to watch, I assigned them to view these and to take responsibility for their individual actions in creating the situation-once that was done, that situation in fact chilled out.

Of her own accord Michelle made a visit to our practice and spent the full day analyzing our operation, talking to staff and at days end spent time one on one with me reviewing her observations and a working plan to handle the existing scene. Her level of caring and sensitivity to the concerns of all of us is admirable, not to mention her desire to help make things go right.

We saw a dramatic increase in our numbers as well:

Production increased $20,710

Collections increased $18,838.29

New Patients went from 12 to 21

All positive growth and a happier environment for all.
