The Importance of the New Patient Exam in your Dental Office!

The New Patient Exam can be the core of your dental practice and can better enable you to provide comprehensive care to all off your patients. A comprehensive dental exam allows the dentist and dental team the time needed to begin building a relationship. It allows the team to build trust that will result in loyal appreciative patients.

We know that sitting down and getting to know more about our patients allows them to become more comfortable with your team. During the New Patient exam we have the opportunity to establish confidence and trust. Sitting down and getting to know more about your patient then opens the door for them to become more comfortable in your practice. As a result, you will have a better chance of providing comprehensive treatment for those patients. No one wants a stranger to treat them. People like to have a friend, someone they can trust, to place the care of their health with.

How Will Block Scheduling Impact Your Dental Office?

Scheduling is one of the most important factors in determining the production, the general flow of your dental practice and the energy level at the end of the day. When your schedule is not properly managed production runs below the practices potential and the end result is the doctor and team members becoming stressed, exhausted and miserable.

Block scheduling is one of single most important factors in your production. Generally, the schedule is created in the beginning stages of the practice and never re designed to fit the doctor's career and lifestyle.

One of the key principles of block scheduling is first create your ideal day. Decide how your day needs to run to achieve your production goals that at the same time will create a pleasant working environment.  Determine how many high production cases need to be in your schedule, then how many block for smaller production, where do the blocks for emergency exams go how many block do there need to be for new patient exam etc.   There should be time blocked off during each day for every type of procedure you want block on that particular day.

Success Mapping in Your Dental Office!

You want to run a great dental practice, right? Do you have a plan? Does your road map lead to success in case acceptance, hygeine, cashflow and patient relationships? Let us help you develop a map for the mindset you'll need, the process and the implementation needed to make sure your map leads you to a successful dental practice.

Keep in mind it is not always going to be a straight path, very often it may be a very bumpy path. What are you going to do when you come to one of those challenging spots in the road?  Unfortunately sometimes we wind up veering off course and loose sight of the end plan, never achieving our goal. There are going to be detours and valleys, the key is to keep the end goal insight and remain faithful to your map. If you don’t want to keep starting over you must commit to stop giving up.

What's the Value Proposition of your Dental Office?

What makes your Dental Office different and better than everyone else? Why should a potential dental patient choose your office?  What value does your dental practice offer to your patient that sets you apart from the dental competition?

It doesn’t it have to be anything over the top, it can be something very simple. As the example in the AMP TV Show of dentist who had no normal office hours, he saw anyone at anytime. He was a great fit for the international business community, this is an example of how a doctor created his proposition by just thinking outside the box. What sets you apart from your competition? What do your patients see as value?

How to Deal with Dental Competition!

How do you differentiate your dental practice and survive in any economy? How do you create raving fan's that can't stop telling family and friends about their experience in your dental practice? AMPs here to tell you the two key points your dental team needs to work together towards to come out on top!

1. Create a vision for your business. What do you want to be known for? Successful practices create their own vision and then follow it. The vision you have for your practice must be something everyone in your practice is completely on board with and working to make it happen. Your vision must be in alignment with the kind of patients you want in your practice as well. Often in our coaching we are told about how intense the competition in dentistry is. The reality is for any organization to grow and thrive they must dwarf their competition and create patient loyalty. The vision you have for your practice should be based on solving a specific problem patients face in a bold way. What can you do that no one else in the industry is doing? How can you create so much value in your practice that your patients can't help but tell everyone about you?
