The challenge with accountability is no one wants to be accountable! Look at our recent political climate. Pass the buck, point the finger, blame, blame, blame. Is this how it works in your Dental Practice? Is this the mindset?
Look at those that function the best, accountability is huge. Look at the companies that run the best. They have great understanding as who does what, who is in charge, who is responsible and if something is not done, they have a go to person to ask why or how come.
A few weeks ago we informed all of our readers about the Overtime Law and the impact it may have on your business. As of November 22nd, 2016 a Federal Judge in Texas issued an injuntion against the Overtime Law that was going to go into effect Dec. 1st.

Call him what you'd like but Ray Allen in 18 years of the NBA has set a milestone that will be hard to beat. He's been coined as the greatest shooter of all time by Stephen Curry of the Golden Gate Warriors. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver referred to Ray as "an extraordinary player."
This is a guy who made 2,973 3-pointers in regular season games putting him at 40% from beyond the arc. There's something to be said about the guy on the court that gets the job done and that's exactly who Ray Allen was.As of November 1st, 2016 Ray Allen announced his retirement in The Players Tribune as 'A Letter to My Younger Self'. This wasn't too surprising to the league and fans as Ray's last season was 2013-2014 with the Miami Heat.
There's lessons to be learned from a career like this, how do you perform at such a high level over a long period of time. That's the ultimate question isn't it, "How do you get lasting change for ourselves over the long hall, that we can enjoy the benefits of in the way that it is intended to be. Seeing the reward of our hard work for a longtime."
The Federal government has changed a law that is relative to labour laws and overtime pay. For the most part the law isn't going to effect a lot of people. If you have employees that are in your organization who are paid a salary you need to pay attention, get your pen and paper out. This passed May 18th, 2016 with an implementation date of December 1st, 2016. No Political discussion, it is what it is there is nothing to it.
